wood and glass coating - stains

Introduction

Stains are used to give the wood/veneers/ply a transparent tone or shade which reveals and enhances the structure of wood. Stains are designed in such a way that they impart exactly same tone of all kinds of wood available. Our range of stains can be classified into three categories which is further classified into sub-categories namely,

UNIVERSAL STAIN SERIES:

UNIVERSAL STAINS (JU):

Universal stains belong to the family of concentrated universal stains which can be diluted with both solvent as well as water. They are high qual- ity deep pore stains designed to impart natural aspect along with excellent UV resistance and rich tone. They are most preferred products for staining veneers & solid woods demanding high quality finish.
JU series stains come in six basic colors from which any color can be prepared by mixing them in specific ratio.

Solvent based Stains:

Standard Series (JS):

JS Series stains are family of the concentrated stains which can be diluted only with solvents. These stains possess inherent characteristic of water resistance along with good UV resistance. Being cost effective with good balance of properties, these are general used stains for all solvent based applications.
JS Series Stains come in six basic colors from which any color can be prepared by mixing them in specific ratio

PIGMENTED STAINS (JP):

JP series stains are family of pigmented stains for giving very rich pigmented tones to the wood or veneer. They are recommended to be diluted with suitable solvents to get required tone in the woodgrains. JP series stains come in six basic pigmented colors from which any color can be prepared by mixing them in specific ratio.

GLAZERS (JR):

JR series glazers are special class of stains which give highly natural dual tone look to veneer or wood substrate. The process of application is different than stains in a way that after application they are wiped. While wiping the part of stain on the top of grains come out of it while the part in side grain remain as it is. As a result, they turn darker inside grain and lighter outside grain giving dual tone natural effect.

WATER-BASED STAINS SERIES:

A. INTERIOR WATER BASED STAIN (JWI):

JWI series of stains are water based stains suitable for interior applications. These are deep pore high transparency stains designed to give natural finish to wood. They are recommended to be used with interior water-based coatings. These stains come in five basic colors from which any color can be developed.

B. EXTERIOR WATER BASED STAIN (JWE):

JWI series of stains are water based stains suitable for interior applications. These are deep pore high transparency stains designed to give natural finish to wood. They are recommended to be used with interior water-based coatings. These stains come in five basic colors from which any color can be developed.
